Day 20 At Sea

Today was a very nice day aboard the ms Amsterdam…  The weather was very nice so it was nice to sit poolside after a few wonderful days in ports.  Tomorrow we arrive around 3:30 in the morning at the port of Xingang China.  This is our gateway to Beijing and that is exactly what I intend on doing. I will be offline for a day or two but will catch up upon my return…..  Here is my itinerary:  October 12. Greet the group at the port in Tianjin at 8am. Drive to Beijing.  Visit Changling and Sacred Way at the Ming Tombs area.  Move on to visit the Great Wall at Juyongguan - Juyongguan is one of the three greatest passes of the Great Wall of China, it is located in an 18 km long valley, to the east of the platform, the Great Wall crosses a river, which is one of the rare sights of the wall. To the west of the platform, the Great Wall rises steeply to the top of the mountain.  Transfer to the city for the Hutong tour with rickshaw.  Be transferred to your hotel in Beijing after the tour.

October 13.  Pick up at the hotel at 08:30.  Visit Tiananmen Square -The biggest downtown Square of the world.  Then to Forbidden City.  Proceed to the Temple of Heaven.  Be transferred back to the Port in Tianjin. Oh, I almost forgot….  I will also get a massage tomorrow night in Beijing, nice way to end the day.  I have included a couple of photos that dropped off by mistake yesterday
