Day 196 Ashdod, Israel (Part 1 of 2)

We arrived into Ashdod early this morning and had to do a face to face Immigration inspection before we could leave the ship.  That being done, John, Diane, George, Neil, Ann, Cathy & I met up with our guide, Simon and headed out to Jerusalem….  First we headed to the Mount of Olives for a great view of Jereusalem and then went down to the Garden of Gethsemane.  Then we headed to the old city where we visited the vaarious quarters, Armenian, Christian, Jewish and Arab…  We visited the hurch of the Holy Sepulcher which was near impossible on Easter Sunday…  We paid a nice visit to the Western Wall before heading off to the Dead Sea….  It turned out to be a pretty good day considering the massive crowds there for Easter…..
