Day 36 Singapore

Today was a very simple day to plan…  Bruce, Sandi & I left about 8:00 this morning and headed for Marina Bay.  First stop was a ride on the Singapore Flyer, the largest Ferris wheel in the world (I think).  It was a spectacular ride with wonderful views of the waterfront and skyline of Singapore.  Next we went up to Skypark at Marina Bay Sands….  The view from the top of the building was wonderful.   If you are wondering what the Marina Bay Sands is, it is a hotel & casino with 3 towers and something that looks like a boat at the top straddling all three towers….  What an architectural wonder!   We then took a stroll through the Gardens by the Bay at Marina Sands.  Once again it was wonderful…  Then it was back to the ship, the heat was getting quite oppressive once again.  Then temps were in the 90s so I went and sat in the sun….  Make sense?  No, I didn’t think it would.

  1. What an interesting and diverse city. Sounds to me like you had a perfect day topped off with a little tanning thrown in for good measure!
