2025_26 Oosterdam, Lima, Peru...

Leaving our wonderful trip to the Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu behind, the next chapter is about to begin.  We had a warm greeting on arrival at the ship yesterday…it is incredible how many crew members that we know who are onboard.  I had my best sleep in a while onboard the Oosterdam. Today my mission was to find an Apple Store to replace my third screen protector in two months. Cathy and I took the ships shuttle to Miraflores, the traffic was crazy…the shuttle dropped us at Parque Love, did a quick tour and then walked to Larcamor Shopping Mall.  Larcomar is a distinctive outdoor shopping and entertainment center built into the side of the sea cliffs of Lima's Miraflores district, offering stunning views of the ocean.  We found the IShop and the protective screen was replaced.  The mall was chaotic Black Friday yes Black Friday in Peru coupled with thousands of Brazilian soccer fans celebrating…Not the best shopping day.  The traffic on our return trip was even more chaotic but we made it back and spent the afternoon by in the sun. It feels so great to be unpacked, settled in at our new home on the Oosterdam after and amazing adventure to the Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu….
