Zaandam Mexican adventure, Mazatlán, Mexico...

Today, we made another visit to Mazatlán, Mexico… Once again, I made to smart choice to stay onboard and rest my ailing body.  It was a beautiful but very unusual weather day.  I was sitting poolside in some magnificent sunshine when I noticed huge fog banks enveloping us from land and sea…  The good news, our ship was left out of the fogbank…  So, I sat there in the sun watching some beautiful fog covering the landscape…  I had a wonderful day today and ready for a big day tomorrow.  Aside from my birthday, we have a Mariner Recognition event at 11:30; followed by cocktails in the Explorer’s Lounge preceding A Taste of India luncheon in the King’s Room with the Captain Ane Smit and HGM Glenn Cowley.  In the evening, we have a dinner celebration in the Pinnacle Grill…  Just when I was trying to drop a few pounds…
