Had a great day today in Manta! I got off the ship at 8:30 with Brad and we hooked up with a taxi for a little over an hour to check out the Central Markets of Manta, along with the Cathedral, Municipal Building and the park where Iguanas live. I just couldn’t get over how amazing the people here were. They were some of the friendliest that we have come across in a while. It was a quick tour because we wanted to be back to the ship around 10:30 to pick up our friend Shiv and go to Montecristi, the center of the Panama Hat Industry. We had a great tour of Montecristi and Shiv got a very nice Panama Hat…. It was truly a fabulous day!
