Day 129 Moorea, French Polynesia (post 2 of 2)
As mentioned in the prior post from Papeete, we sailed over to Moorea this morning with a plan to spend the night in one of those "cool" huts over the water.... Here are some photos that I took on the way to the Moorea Intercontinental Hotel, our "cool" hut over the water. This has to be one of the most beautiful places on the planet. Too bad it's so expensive, could be paradise..... Here are just a few of the beautiful scenes from Moorea, more to follow tomorrow......

Still on my list (despite exp! !)
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to next installment
We stayed at the Intercontinental for a week (unfortunatly not in one of the huts) after our cruise in 2004. French Polynesia is heaven on earth! Huahini and Bora Bora were our favs.
ReplyDeleteI remember paying $2 for a can of beer in Moorea, and then the next day paying $8 for a can of diet coke!!
ReplyDeleteBut it's still the best place I've ever visited.

ReplyDeleteJeff,
ReplyDeleteTahiti is my most favourite place on earth. Bora Bora is paradise to me and Moorea is a close second. It is expensive but then it is so far from anywhere and everything has to be either flown in or delivered by ship.
Loving your photos and am looking forward to seeing more of this paradise.

This is the wrong kind of blog for you Don.... There are many blogs out there where they write endlessly.... They'll even tell you what they had for breakfast. I spend 2 hours a day as it is.... That's a pretty good investment of time for a free blog service. I suggest you may want to go elsewhere..... Have a nice day!

ReplyDeleteHave been following your blog and very well done! It's excellent!
ReplyDeleteBut .... talk about your 'adventures in paradise' ... where's Adam Troy when you need him. ;)
Yep I'm green with envy. Enjoy.
Jeff: I've been reading your blog for several years. First Comment. I hope you know the pleasure you bring to so many of us with your incredible pictures.
ReplyDeleteMuch Thanks.
There are no words to describe the beauty of the waters around French Polynesia. Although your photos take my breath away.....everyone should know that it is even more beautiful in person.
