It was another spectacular day at sea…. I was a little disappointed to hear that Cyclone Gary could cause us some weather disturbances in the future as we approach French Polynesia. The current plan was to spend the night in Moorea in one of those cool huts over the water but that may have to change. Tomorrow we have a “scenic only” visit to Pitcairn Island. Most of the islanders were to come aboard to sell their souvenirs but a third of the population has come down with the H2N3 flu virus so….. no one will come onboard. After tomorrow, we have two more days at sea before Papeete Tahiti, hope the weather calms down before that…..
