Panama Canal Voyage, Puerto Vallarta (Part 2 of 2)

We had a pretty amazing day today....  Ann, Cathy & I did a little bit of everything.  We first hired a taxi for the day and headed south.  Our destination was the Vallarta Botanical Garden, about 20 miles outside of town.  We stopped for some scenic stops along the way like Los Arcos & Mismaloya beach, and just enjoyed the ride to the gardens.  The gardens themselves were quite lovely and pretty large, with a lot of hiking trails.  I really enjoyed our time there, the flowers were just spectacular!  On the way back to Puerto Vallarta, we stopped at Boca de Tomatlan for some additional scenic views.  Once we arrived back in Old Town, we said goodbye to our driver and spent the rest of the afternoon shopping, having lunch, catching some WiFi and capturing a few more photos....  It was a wonderful day!  Back on the ship, we gathered on the aft deck for some late afternoon fun as we sailed away from Puerto Vallarta.  Tomorrow is a sea day as we make our way, once again, to Huatulco, Mexico....  This blog is in two parts.
