After our float plane ride over Dubai, Gloria went back to the ship while Brad, Ann, Cathy & I went to Dubai Creek. We took a taxi there and then hired a boat for a cruise down Dubai Creek dropping us off at the end at the Deira Bank where all the Souks are accessible…. We first cruised the Spice Souks, then went the ever so gaudy Gold Souk. I cannot imagine who would buy such outrageous pieces of jewelry or body armor as they would seem…. Just amazing! Then it was off to the markets, vegetable and the ever favorite fish market… Everyone we encountered was just marvelous… We met people from so many countries it was an amazing adventure in itself. Dubai runs on a migrant workforce so you can meet people from a huge array of cultures and countries…. It was a wonderful visit to Dubai Creek. We went back to the ship where I stayed to relax and my friends went back out for more adventures in Dubai….
