Day 98 Basseterre, St. Kitts (Part 1 of 2)

Nice sunrise and sail into the port of Basseterre, St. Kitts…..  I went ashore with Cathy & Ann just intending to explore the town and market and head back to the ship.  I have been here many times so it seemed like a great plan, explore in the morning and make our way poolside for the afternoon….  Good plan until our friends  John & Diane stopped us in town with their taxi & driver “Elvis” and asked if we wanted to join then for a tour around the island.  We agreed and were off!  Some of the highlights of the island tour were the old sugar mill ruins, the scenic stops along the way and Black Rock….  The highlight in our walk around town were definitely the people….  We did meet a few nice people along the way…
