Day 102 Bangkok, Thailand (Part 2 of 2)

After the Temple of the Emerald Buddha we went Wat Po the Temple of the Reclining Buddha for a tour, photos and... a massage.  There is a Thai Massage school at Wat Po... felt soooo good.  Next we went to lunch on a boat on the river, very nice.  After lunch we took a boiat tour on the Klongs (canals) and it was amazing to see how high the flood waters had hit this area... so sad.  Then it was off to Wat Arun, the Temple of the Dawn.  I always have loved this temple with its spire shooting way above Bangkok.  We decide then to take an earlier flight to Chaing Mai...  We are there now... trip to the night market, dinner and now blogging....  Tomorrow Chaing Rai!

  1. Fantastic photos! What a contrast between the opulent temples and the waterfront shacks(#57 is my fav. photo of these). Haven't had any more room flooding? hehehe. I guess you can just expect the unexpected when visiting that part of the world! Definitely not in Kansas any more and you'll have tales to tell...
