Koningsdam adventure, Honolulu, Hawaii....

Today was a bit different…  I decided last night that I was going to say onboard the ship today when our 1-hour, doors off, helicopter tour of Oahu was cancelled… Got up this morning and looked out at the Aloha Tower of Honolulu.  Honolulu, the capital of Hawaii, is located on the island of Oahu and is known for its stunning beaches, vibrant culture, and historical landmarks such as Pearl Harbor and Diamond Head. The city offers a unique blend of modern urban life and traditional Hawaiian heritage, making it a popular destination for tourists seeking relaxation, adventure, and cultural experiences.  As a child, from 1958 until 1961 this was home.  This is also where my sister Lisa was born, up on the side of the mountain in the large pink complex of Tripler Army Medical Center.  The ladies went out and did what they love to do…  shopping.  I had a beautiful day soaking up the Hawaiian sun….
