The sail into Honolulu was fairly lovely this morning despite the threatening sky. We left the ship around 9:00 and spent a leisurely day walking and exploring the sites of Honolulu and Waikiki. Once we departed the ship, we headed for the stately Iolani Palace and across the street the King Kamehameha I statue , Kawaiahao Church and the St. Andrews Cathedral. Ann, Cathy and I meandered our way thought the back streets of Honolulu on our way to Waikiki. There sure is a lot of graffiti along the way…. We made a few stops along the way to enjoy the scenery, refreshments and Wi-Fi. Of course the day was not complete without a walk on Waikiki Beach and a photo of the iconic Diamond Head on this Thanksgiving day….. Aloha! We are overnight here and tomorrow may turn out to be a bit of shopping since it is Black Friday!
