Today, I went with my other 7 friends and dining room table mates on a tour of Qingdao… The sail into the port was an eye opener, I didn’t expect a city so big. Come to find out there are nearly 8 million people living here. It certainly had a lovely skyline. The itinerary for our tour was first to head to Laoshan Mountain(including Taiqing Palace), a nice Chinese lunch and then head to Xiaoyushan Hill Park and a brief look at Zhanqiao Pier. The Taiqing Palace and Xiaoyushan Park with its scenic views were definite highlights. It was a beautiful day for touring and my friends & I enjoyed every minute of it. Here is part one….
