Today was a nice relaxing day at sea after 5 busy port days….. I even got to sit out by the pool for a short time. This evening was fabulous! I had the pleasure of dining with Captain Fred Eversen and Ms Brooke Nantz in the Pinnacle Grill for dinner. To make it even more special, my friends Allan & Sandra Benson were invited as well. The food and company were fantastic. It was certainly one of the best Captain’s dinners that I have had the pleasure to attend. After dinner, I visited my friends in the dining room to say hello, figured they would still be there, we are some of the last to leave because we have so much fun. Tomorrow we are off to Beijing for an overnight adventure. Here is the tentative itinerary: Day 1. Arrival, Great Wall and Temple of Heaven
-Pick up at the exit of the Tianjin Xingang International Cruise Home Port by our tour guide & private car/van. Then drive for about 3 hours to the Mutianyu Great Wall. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant. Then head to the Temple of Heaven. Be transferred to your hotel.
Day 2. Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City, Summer Palace
- Hotel check-out & pick-up at 8:00 am. Then we will take you to visit city highlights: Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City and Summer Palace. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant.
-Transfer back to Tianjin Xingang International Cruise Home Port after an entire day tour (arrive at Xingang Port at approximately 5:00 pm).

The gardens are so beautiful, the markets amazing and the animals interesting.
