I got off the ship first thing after arrival with Ian & Carole, ready to explore the town of Noumea…. The first thing we did was head to the markets, nice place to see people doing their daily shopping. We stopped at a café for coffee & diet coke to take a break from the heat of the day. Then we headed to Place de Cocotiers, a lovely park where a lot of people sat and relaxed. We walked around the city checking out the shops. Finally, we walked around Chinatown for while before heading back to the ship. It was a nice, relaxing day. Tomorrow will be a beach day at Ile des Pins, New Caledonia….
