Our final stop on this voyage, Puerto Limon, Costa Rica…. I went into town early to get in a walk and
snap a few pics… There wasn’t a lot open
but I did get to the market to buy a couple of kilos of Habaneros for the
Indonesian Crew. Then it was back to the
Retreat to spend a relaxing day in the sun….
Two sea days and this voyage will draw to a close.
Well….. here I am
again at the Panama Canal. Still love it
after so many visits, one of the most amazing feats created by man. It was a very bright and sunny day with very
high humidity and a horrible heat index but that didn’t send into the shade. We were a couple of hours late in arriving at
the canal due to an unforeseen medical debarkation at 3:15 am in Aruba the
night after we left Curacao. The transit
was nice, relaxing in the Retreat even better.
Due to our late arrival, we arrived into Colon late as well which kept
the stop fairly short, enough time to pick up the hundreds who took an
excursion. All in all it was a great
day!
