Day 32 Lautoka, Fiji (Part 1 of 2)

Hot and steamy sail into the harbor of Lautoka…..  Staring into the sun makes it difficult to take photographs.  The plan today was to go out with my friends Ian, Carole, Ann & Kathy to the Garden of the Sleeping Giant and to the markets in Nadi with a few stops here and there.  We hooked a taxi first thing and headed out.  The gardens, as usual, were spectacular…  There are so many plants and flowers there, mostly orchid.  Just beautiful!  Loved the markets in Nadi, even bought some hot chili peppers for the crew.  We toured the island for about 4 hours and then headed back to the ship.  I went poolside and , once again, it was way too hot. The temperature and humidity are really up there.  It was a very, very lovely day!
