It was a very long day as we made our way from Athens to Cappadocia via Istanbul but worth every moment once we arrived. The view of Mt Erciyes with its snowcapped peaks glowing pink in the setting sun was a sight to behold. Once we arrived at our hotel, the Kelebek Cave Hotel around 6:30 we were excited with the surroundings we found ourselves in, surrounded with Fairy Chimneys and dwellings in Caves, including my own hotel room. The excitement surrounding our Hot Air Balloon ride the next morning was tremendous…. The journey was long and now is the time to take it all in…..
