Today was simply the best!!!! I rented a car and went to the Waimea Canyon and the Kokee State Park with a couple of new friends, Dieter & Ute Heinicke…. The sights of this beautiful island are beyond words. We also ventured out and hike about 4-5 miles of the Canyon Rim Trail… that tested me for sure! The blog is in two parts and I don’t think fut=rther explanation is really necessary, the beauty of the island tells it’s own story…. Part 1 of 2
