The adventure begins..... Seattle, Washington

Well, the next big adventure has officially begun….  My sister Lisa and her husband Jim made the huge sacrifice and got up at three o’clock this morning to take me to the airport in Philadelphia.  The flight went well and we arrive into Seattle early.  I took a taxi to the hotel and was really lucky to get into my room at such an early hour.  I dropped the bags, grabbed the camera and was off…..  I first went up the Space Needle, always a great place to start!  Next up was the Chihuly Garden and Glass Museum…..  Dale Chihuly is such a fabulous artist!  Then I headed out toward the Pike’s Place Market and met up with my friend Rene Felton, the Spa Manager on the ms Amsterdam….  We hung out for a couple of hours, had a bite to eat and then it was time for me to head back to the hotel….   Lots to do, update computers and electronic devices before I get on the ship, put together my first blog posting in a while and….  Have a nice cold diet coke!  I am so excited to board the ms Amsterdam, my home away from home and to join my Holland America Line family…..
