Had another wonderful day in Auckland….. Went out early this morning for a little shopping just to find out that many places were closed for Waitangi Day, the day when the treaty was signed between the Maoris and the English..... We decided to go and look at Albert Park which was just lovely, lots of beautiful flowers. Then it was off to the Ferry terminal to catch a ferry to Devonport. We had a wonderful afternoon there and even hiked up to the top of Mount Victoria…. What a lovely view. It was a great day, once again!
hope that you are safe from the recent tsunami. heard that it was near papa new Guinea, or around the new zealand area.
