What a wonderful day!!!! It is always so exciting to return to the country of my birth. That is probably because it is so unique & unusual….. Anyway, the weather was beautiful for our visit to Qaqortoq, it is just a shame that this is as close as I can get to my birthplace in Narsarssuaq which is about 32 nautical mile from here. The people of Qaqortoq were just lovely and Suzanna from the tourist information office was particularily helpful. We spent our time walking around the town visiting as many places as we could, The place is so picturisque with all the colorful buildings….. Would love to see what it is like in the winter…. Also enjoyed the whales who played around near the ship all day. The icebergs as we sailed out was a nice ending for the day…. Great day!
