Day 18 Amsterdam, The Netherlands

What a fabulous day...  It was so nice to see my friends Aart & Ellen, made our day!  I was out on the outer decks way too early, around 4:15 am.  That is a bit early, even for me.  I was there to see us successfully negotiate the lock and enter the canals leading us to Amsterdam.  It has been 38 years since I was last in Amsterdam.... boy was I young!  Once we arrived, we left the ship and hooked up with Aart & Ellen and were on our way.  We got passes for the hop on hop off boats & buses so we could explore Amsterdam far & wide....  It was a great day.  Now it is time to do a little blog work before we go out for the evening.... perfect day!
