Day 127 Delphi Greece
























































What a difference a day makes....  Yesterday was a pretty bad weather day but today, despite a very slow start, finished in grand style.  We headed back out to Meteora early in the morning and the rain and fog continued...  I did the best I could and we headed out to Delphi, a 3 hour drive, in the rain.  After crossing the mountains the conditions brightened and we had wonderful weather at Delphi.  It was a wonderful visit to the ruins and the museum....  At lunch I had a major surprise, a birthday cake....  It was wonderful!  The meal we had was one of the best Greek meals that I have had, just spectacular...  The day was just great, nice birthday!

    Hi Jeff,

    A big happy birthday to you though a little late. Loved the photos, especially those of Delphi as it has been a long time since we visited there, back in 1995! It has changed at all.

    jeff, over the years, i'll bet you have an interesting list of places where you have spent your birthdays. you are usually on board a ship at the time going around the world. happy birthday, so glad you are enjoying life to the fullest. beachlady
