We had a very hot and steamy sail into Darwin Harbor today around mid-day….. I have been here a number of times and have hit all the big attractions so today I decided to hike out to the Botanic Gardens and spent the afternoon there. It was quite a hike due to the heat but well worth the trek. The Botanical Gardens are pretty nice, much nicer than I would have guessed due to the dry season being upon them. It was a great day ashore…. Tonight, we had an Aussie Barbeque on the Lido deck and some wonderful didgeridoo music…. Wonderful evening!!! Now we have 3 days at sea as we make our way to Port Douglas, Australia. Loving this voyage……
