Voyage is fast approaching...

I am home packing away...  They pickup my luggage on the 14th and I fly to Seattle on the 19th.  I can't believe is is approaching so quickly.  Now is when the realization hits that 7 months is a very long time.  I am really looking forward to it.  Here is a link with the voyage mapped out and I have included a few Google Earth photos showing my journey...  http://www.travellerspoint.com/member_map.cfm?user=jeff449

I too will be making a lifetime dream trip come true as I travel to Hawaii and Bora Bora. My wish for you is safe travels and good health. Bon Voyage! Fran

  4. Jeff, I have lived your adventures vicariously for several years. Having cruise myself for at most 11 days, I do have a question. How big is your cabin? Is it an outside? I cannot imagine cruising for 7 months in such a tiny space, more so if I could not even see outside.

  5. I have a regular size cabin. It isn't too small primarily because I'm generally traveling alone. On a 7 month voyage, as you can imagine, I bring a lot of things with me. I have done this so much that the packing comes second nature. I prefer an inside cabin on the lower decks. That isn't always the case but that is my personal preference. It gets really dark in there when you turn out the lights....
