The sail in this morning was very scenic but the winds were brutal…. At time the gusts felt like hurricane force but…. It was worth it. The scenery in Iceland is very, very beautiful. We have seen thet everywhere we have travleed in this island nation. We took it fairly easy today. Hiking up the hill to the church and then on to the wonderful botanical gardens. We spent the rest of our stay wandering around town, visiting shops and taking in the sights. Wonderful day! We are leaving a little early today because the Captain announced yeaterday that we are going to try and make up the visit to Prince Christian Sund that we missed on the way to Europe… Can’t wait!
