Day 20 Sailing to Southampton, England (Part 1 of 2)

Well, once again I was on the forward decks early in the morning as we sailed to Southampton.  Once again I was the only person out there….  What gives?  Anyway, the first sights were the white cliffs of Dover… nice!  Then as we passed Portsmouth there were some pretty cool forts out in the water.  We sailed passed the Isle of Wight where there were many sights to be seen….  We made it to Southampton around 9:00 am where we got off the ship to take our private tour.  We booked a tour to go to Salisbury, Stonehenge and Winchester with SBL Travel Ltd.  We were hooked up with Steve Lockyer, one of the owners.  He did a great job….  Going to Southampton?  You can contact him at enquiries@sbltravel.co.uk

  1. Great pictures! Unbelievable that you were the only one out there when you sailed in. Lucky for us you were there, thanks Jeff!
