It was a bit of a chilly, overcast morning as we sailed into San Francisco Bay this morning…. At least the heavy fog that was predicted didn’t show up. It was a lovely, picturesque sail into San Francisco. It was a first time visit for Corrine so we walked about the city, avoiding the rain showers, and hit some of the highlights like Fisherman’s Wharf, riding on a cable car and a visit to Nob Hill. The city skyline is so beautiful and I just love Alcatraz positioned out in the middle of the harbor. It was a relaxing, wonderful day!

Tales of the South Pacific, Seattle Washington
The long awaited day finally arrived and we sailed out of Seattle Washington to begin the Tales of the South Pacific….. I am really looking forward to this 50 day voyage, sailing with Corrine Lawrence, a very special lady to me. In San Diego, her aunt Irene and her cousin Patrick will join us. It will be a magnificent voyage! So far the crew have far exceeded all expectations, the dining room staff were simply amazing and the housekeeping staff, the best! Off we go, next stop San Francisco….
