2016 Grand World Voyage, Day 30, Picton, New Zealand (Part 2 of 2)

We arrived very early in the morning so the sun was barely coming up....  I decided that I would go on a long trek today, taking in the beautiful scenery surrounding Picton.  I started out heading toward town, went over the Marina Bridge and headed out on the Lower Bob’s Bay Track....  From there, I connected to the Harbor View Track and finally the Snout Track...  It certainly wasn’t a hike for everyone, there were lots of very steep inclines to hike up along the way.  Altogether, on the various tracks I covered a bit over 12 miles.  The scenery was beautiful and the hike pretty rigorous.  I joined a fellow guest from the ship, Ralph who joined me in this endeavor.  What a hike and what a day....  Once we returned to town, we had lunch and lots to drink to rehydrate at the Oxley’s Rock Restaurant....  it was nice to have a relaxing lunch and a cold beverage or two after our very arduous hike.  Great day!  The sail out of the Harbor was lots of fun.....  Just loved our visit to Picton.  This is part two of a two part blog....
