Another great visit to Curacao…. The day started out pretty standard, I got off
early to get some walking in. The great
thing was we were docked inside the Queen Emma Pontoon Bridge, directly across
from downtown. Love docking here. I met up with Ian at 10:15 and we walked to
Aart & Ellen’s place for a visit>
This is a big highlight for me on each voyage that we get to visit Curacao…. WE had a wonderful visit and walked back to
the ship later in the afternoon to get ready for our guests… Aart & Ellen were joining us for drinks and
dinner in the Pinnacle Grill again…. As
usual, Willy and his staff provided us with an exceptional dining experience…. I just love it here on the Zuiderdam! After dinner, we all went to the Main Stage
to see the Island Magic Steel band performance….
They were magnificent! Then we had
to say our goodbyes to Aart & Ellen for this voyage…. Until next time! Later in the evening, I went up on the top
decks to capture some night shots. A
huge crowd had gathered at the aft pool to see the lunar eclipse and the blood
moon later in the evening…. Too late for
me! It was a great day!!!!
