2017 Grand World Voyage, Day 162, Mekong Delta, Vietnam (Part 2 of 2)

On the road early this morning as the main objective of the day was arrive at the ship before it sets sail for Singapore. We had a 1.5 hour drive to the ferry crossing the Hau River on route to Sa Dec and just made the jammed packed ferry.  Sa Dec is famous for flowers markets and bonsai trees.  We drove through the Sa Dec Flower Village, a massive individually owned commercial nursery suppliers.  We had a short stop at the Huynh Thuy Le House, this colonial house is known as the love house from a relationship between a French women and Chinese/Vietnamese man in the 1920's.  After a long days drive, we arrived home to the MS Amsterdam. This journey through the Mekong Delta region has been a wonderful adventure and I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Vietnam.  Only one day at sea before Singapore and off again to India for nine days.  This is part 2 of a 2 part blog.
