The Deja Vu Circle Hawaii Voyage, Day 78, Scenic Sailing: Kilauea Volcano

Tonight’s entertainment, a stunning view of lava flowing into the ocean….   A sight to behold!  When firey, hot lava collides with cool sea water, the impact is staggering.  Thanks to our Captain, Fred Eversen, for allowing us to experience this magnificent sight once again….  What a night!!!!!

  1. Do you notice the "vog" when near the volcano? Anytime we've done this (spring, autumn) there was quite a smell and the air was far from clear. We were wondering how it is at this time of the year.
