Incan Empires, Puerto Vallarta, Mexico Day 1 (Part 2 of 2)

What a magnificent day!  I was picked up around 8:30 by my friend Angela Corelis who has lived in Puerto Vallarta for many years.  I met Angela aboard a cruise ship a number of years ago.  She pretty much knows everything there is to know about the area.....  Today, she had suggested that we venture a little farther afield to a place called San Blas.  There we could go on a Mangrove boat tour, visit some historical sites like the Fort or old Customs house and check out the beach.  The place became known as a magnet for surfers.  The trip was a long one, we spent many hours on the road getting there and coming back but it was well worth it!  The mangrove tour was just amazing, the waters were so perfectly still that it enabled me to take countless reflection shots, which I love.  Some of the shots, going through a mangrove canopy look almost psychedelic....  the wildlife was amazing, particularly the crocodile with the butterfly on its nose..  It was just one of those days that you will long remember...  Thank you Angela!  This blog is in two parts...

  2. Hi Jeff,
So glad you were able to visit Tikal. I can understand why you were so eager to see it.
Thanks for the lovely photo of the freighter and sunset.
We're having a warm spell-high 50's but windy. Don't think Santa will find much snow in our neck of the woods.
Sorry to hear about the electronics difficulties and thank you for continuing the blog.
