Tales of the South Pacific Hilo, Hawaii

What a wonderful day!!!!  We arrived into Hilo this morning at 8:00 and headed out for a wonderful adventure….  Corrine, her Aunt Irene and cousin Patrick & I headed out with our rental car first to Hawai’i Volcanoes National Park.  We had a wonderful visit viewing the Volcano Caldera , all the steam vents and traveling along the Crater Rim.  Then we headed to Rainbow Falls which is simply a beautiful setting.  Our final stop, perhaps the most beautiful setting, Akaka Falls, about 422 feet of magnificent waterfall.  It was a magnificent way to celebrate Corrine’s birthday!  Great day capped off with a fabulous dinner at the Pinnacle Grill with Corrine, Irene, Patrick and Henk & Christel Mensink…  Fabulous birthday dinner!
