Day 220 At Sea

Kind of a dreary day outside but pretty nice inside….  I got the final packing done, Yeah!!!!  I went to “Dancing with the Stars” finals today and that was great.  Gene Yong is such a fabulous Cruise Director that he makes every event a fun experience.  So today is our final day, certainly a day filled with sorrow for leaving such great friends and “family” but also a day filled with joy as we remember all the great adventures we have had on this Grand World Voyage.  When I get home I will provide another Blog with my personal top 10 overview of this Grand Voyage.  We have seen magnificent places, met wonderful people along the way of so many cultures and enjoyed the company of our fellow guests and beloved crew.  It has been an awesome adventure….

  1. Hi Jeff,
It's hard to believe that the WC is at its conclusion.
Thank you so much for all your wonderful photos, insight and time. For many of us, reading your blog with morning coffee was much better than the reading the morning paper.
You gave much happiness to so many as well as provided educational opportunities to expand one's horizon. Your positivity will be missed as well as the humorous pictures of you with pigs, oversized Dutch shoes and bites from bears.
Yes, I've been following your adventures for many years.
You've also encouraged me to get the Inside Passage and Denali off my bucketlist next month. Will be on the Oosterdam.
Thank you again and I wish you a safe journey home and many wonderful adventures ahead.

  2. Thank you so very much for your wonderful blogs over the years. Yep, I'm a fan of your beautiful photographs. Can't blame you for wanting to publish. What beautiful "coffee table" books your photography would deliver. Totally understand your reason for not blogging any longer ... LOL don't like it, but accept your decision so I'll take this opportunity to wish you all the very best for the future. Thank you and 'ciao'. Suzi from Australia

  3. Jeff; thank you for all your blogs and especially the great photos, we will miss your blogs but understand and we can look back and enjoy what you have already posted. That should certainly keep us busy for a year or two. LOL.
I hope you will continue to enjoy cruising and travelling where ever you may go. Thanks again. Helen

Thank you so much for your wonderful photos and posts. I've been following your adventures for several years and love seeing places I've never been as well as revisiting familiar places. I totally understand why you have decided not to continue doing these posts for your cruises unless circumstances change. Thank you for sharing your trips with us. Vicki
