Day 50 Port Douglas, Australia (Part 1 of 3)

I was off on the first tender with my tablemates as we headed for Mossman Gorge.  As we arrived at Mossman Gorge we headed for the park first to head into the rain forest.  We hiked down to the Mossman River on elevated walkways and across the Rex Creek Suspension Bridge.  It was great scenery, even came across a Bush Turkey…..  The scenery was dramatically different than when I was here in February 2011 when it was pouring rain and the river was raging.  At 11:00 we were back at the Mossman Gorge Center to meet out guide and head out on an Aboriginal Ngadiku Dreamtime Walk.  We learned quite a bit about the Aboriginal culture and how they lived off the land.  Great visit!  Next we headed to the Wildlife Habitat in Port Douglas which will be covered in Part 2…..
