Day 9 At Sea

WE continue to sail across the Bering Sea and I am still searching for warmer weather….  It will be a bit longer I’m afraid before conditions improve.  Seems we have a bit of a storm and some higher winds to contend with but….  All is wel aboard the ms Amsterdam.  I am really enjoying the voyage.  The time with friends has been wonderful, the service above and beyond and the food magnificent.  What is not to like.  Today we did some serious planning for Tokyo. Two days docked in Tokyo and we paln on taking advantage of every minute of it.  Another 2 hours of extra sleep time again tonight…..  I think I am getting too well rested.  Tomorrow is Wednesday the 1st of October for us and we have 2 more sea days before our first Japanese port of Kushiro.

  1. Wish Bangkok had been cooler-a real sauna-Phuket feels great in comparison
but actually now looking forward to soon feeling cold in Canada !

Awaiting your Japanese photos, as did that route on the Volendam last April
but have just a few decent snaps by-so yours will greatly appreciated

Next year thoughts-ALREADY-well the Grand voyage will be just a normal cruise but the 50 days sounds appealing-despite my upcoming Veendam -like to revisit
the real S Pacific again-especially Fanning Island

Hope the sun finally shines for you in Kushiro
