Day 5 Kodiak, Alaska (Part 3 of 3)

What an excellent start to our Grand Pacific & Far East Voyage….  Kodiak was just an amazing experience, thanks to Kyle, our pilot, for making the day very special for myself and my friends.  To finish it up, here are the rest of the photos from this wonderful visit to Kodiak, Alaska…  The last photo depicts the route we took on our flight over the island.  The star depicts where we landed and went for a trek looking for Kodiak bear.

  2. Perfect AK weather for a day of 'flight-seeing'..... with bears, too. Kodiak is one rugged island. Curious, how many bears are 'island-locked' on Kodiak Island? Across the straight in Katmai there are large numbers of Bears that come to Brooks for early fish-feeding.
Thanks for the great Kodiak photos. Rugged country!
