What an amazing day!!!! I have been to Easter Island or Rapa Nui on a number of occasions and this trip was definitely the smoothest. It is normally a very tough tender ride ashore to visit Easter Island, that is if you can get ashore at all. Today was magnificent. I went ashore with Ian, Carole and George. We had a car rental and we headed out to explore the island. It was a perfect day to explore even though lighting conditions are a bit harsh for photographs. We enjoyed every minute of the day exploring the Ahus and their Moais, the wild horses and magnificent scenery…. I took way too many photographs… here are the first half!
