Day 46 At Sea

Hot & sunny, just the way I like it…. It was pretty breezy, probably as a result of the super typhoon.  Our thoughts and prayers are with the people of the Philippines and everywhere else in the path of Haiyan or Yolanda as it is known in the Philippines…  Here on the ms Amsterdam all is safe, smooth seas.  Great job by Captain Eversen & crew keeping us safe.  As a result of these efforts we had a spectacular day here.  This evening I ran into Ian Taylor & his wife Grace who were celebrating our friend Vicki’s birthday,  Tomorrow we have a Ball, the Gold & Black Ball…  should be fun, hopefully lots of photos.

  1. Glad to know you're safe. I was away for a month and hadn't checked up on your blog but suspected your cruise was near typhoon activity. Sounds like you're enjoying yourself as always! After traveling a month, mostly in an enormously large Audi station wagon in Italy, with narrow, hilly, windy roads and lanes, the advantages of a cruise with an expert navigating and driving, unpacking only once, etc etc, sure sounds appealing!!

  2. Hi, Jeff...
Curious if you are a dancer. If so, you can be just like a single "Gentleman Dance Host" at the formal balls. Allot of fun!
