Day 193 Maputo, Mozambique to Sabi Sand, South Africa

The adventure begins….  The sail into Maputo, Mozambique was exciting because our safari adventure was going to begin.  We left the port around 9:30 in the morning heading for South Africa.  The drive was interesting at time, sometimes very scenic.  It was such a relief to arrive into South Africa.  The Mozambique Immigration officials weren’t going to let us leave the country because they said we had no visa.  It took us a while but we finally arrived into South Africa.  We got to our lodge, Cheetah Plains at Sabi  Sands around 4:15, checked in, got an orientation and readied ourselves for our first game drive….  To be continued….. next blog posting!
