Day 85 At Sea

Today was very hot and steamy…..  I spent the day poolside, reading and visiting with friends.  Around 3:00 some nasty looking storm clouds rolled in which gave me an excuse to go in.  I included some cloud photos for my cloud loving friend Holly….  Anyway, I took the opportunity to take a rare afternoon nap which was very refreshing.  Then it was off to formal night.  I haven’t been visiting the dining room on this voyage, taking some time off, but tonight I went and had a delightful dinner with my friend Peter.  It was nice to see my waiters Iwan & Seth.  I included a couple of formal night photos, including one with my friends Helen & Ken from the last formal night.  Overall it was a very nice day.  Tomorrow we transit the Panama Canal.  The rough schedule is to transit the Miraflores Locks 8:00 am – 9:00 am,  Pedro Miguel Locks 9:45 am – 10:25 am and the Gatun Locks 2:00 pm – 4:20 pm.  I hope I don’t get carried away with photos like I usually do since I have transited the canal many times and…. We will be transiting the canal again on the World Voyage in a few weeks.  I look forward to a nice day tomorrow albeit a very hot and steamy one….

  1. I love to see cloud pictures too. It must be amazing to see some of the clouds when you are on the ship in the middle of the ocean. Thanks for sharing yours Jeff.

  2. Thank you Jeff!! I'd rather look at those clouds than the ones sending down the snowflakes right now. For about 15 years I didn't have to think about shoveling snow, but today that might all change. 2 inches on the ground and it's still coming down. UGH
