Day 40 Lembar, Lombak Indonesia (Part 1 of 2)

I got off the ship this morning at 7:00 am on the first tender after a lovely into Lembar Lombak…..  Once ashore, I hooked up a car and driver for the day for $80, not a bad deal.  We made 5 wonderful stops; first we stopped at the Kediri Village Market which was very colorful and filled with wonderful people.  Next we headed to the Pasar Bertais Market while making stops along the way for photos.   I was at this market on the world voyage and just had to come back….  It was fabulous.  The next stop was at a hindu temple, Pura Suranadi, very nice.  Then it was off to the Narmada Water Palace which was a repeat visit for me, nice place anyway.  Our final stop was at Gunung Pengsong, a temple high on the mountain.  The walk up is pretty steep but the views are worth it.  To make it even better are the couple of hundred monkeys that live there.  The day was just amazing….  Took so many photos again that the blog is posted in two parts.

Were there many cabs for hire at the dock?, how did you know where to go, or did the driver suggest places for you
