Day 22 Dublin, Ireland

We sailed into Dublin around noon today giving us a half day today to explore Dublin.  We took the shuttle in and went on foot.  First we headed for the Grafton Street shopping area where it was crazy with people….  Apparently there was a zombie cancer awareness march, looks like an excuse for a party to me.  Next we went into St. Stephen’s Green Park which was lovely.  Then it was off to St. Patrick’s Cathedral which was magnificent.  To cover all bases, we also went by Christ Church Cathedral on our way to Dublin Castle….  We then went through the Temple Bar area, great shops and restaurants…  Here we ran smack dab into the zombie march, crazy…  We finished the day with a look at Merrion Square, after another stop at Grafton Street for good measure.  Very nice day!

  2. Hi Jeff,

Loved the photos of Dublin. It brought back so many memories of our time in that city in 2007. You even walked past the hotel where we stayed - it was in the street with the tram - one of the Georgian houses there, very close to St.Stephens Green Park. You certainly managed a lot in half a day.
