Day 20 Southampton, England (Part 2 of 2)

Our roadtrip around southern England was fabulous today….  Steve, from SBL Travel Ltd, picked us up as soon as we got off the ship.  We headed through the New Forest toward Salisbury…  The drive was beautiful and a nice diversion from normal motorways.  We arrived in Salisbury and headed for the Cathedral…. Magnificent!  We took in the sights in Salisbury for a while and then headed for Stonehenge, a place I have waited a long time to visit.  The lines were long but moved quickly.  Fornately, the rain showers held off to make it an enjoyable experience.  Next, we headed for Winchester….  Not only did it have a wonderful cathedral but was an amazing place to visit.  We stopped at a while at a café and had a bit of lunch and continued to explore the city….  It was a wonderful day overall.

  2. Oh, Stonehenge is really a magical place... I went there together with my young daughter some years ago. We then stayed in Bath, also a wonderful and charming city.
