Day 9 Reykjavik, Iceland (Part 1 of 2)

What a fantastic day…..  We, as advertised, took the South Coast & Jokulsarlon Glacial Lagoon tour with Iceland Excursions, Gray Line Iceland….  We stopped at Seljalndsfoss waterfall, Skogafoss waterfall and Skaftafell National Park in addition to our tour of the lagoon at Jokulsarlon.  It was a very long day but our excellent driver and our guide Omar made it very special.  We went through some of the most beautiful scenery that I have ever seen.  The south coast of Iceland is a sure bet for very dramatic and scenic views.  The Iceland truly is “Fire & Ice” with all the volcanoes and glaciers.  The numerous waterfalls were simply breathtaking.  The first one we stopped at, Skogafoss was amazing but so were the many we just saw as we went by…. I truly enjoyed Jokulsarlon and its many ice bergs, many a brilliant blue.  It was such a wonderful day that I am doing a two part blog….  Here is part one of two….
