Boston Day 2

It was a hot, sunny day in Boston...  We decided that we would spend the day walking the Freedom Trail, exploring some US history.  We started out stopping off at Mike's Pastry, an Italian bakery having Cannolis.  They were magnificent!  Off on the trail we went...  We had a great day although Corrine did wear down a bit at the end.  She did really well though.  Our last stop was at the USS Constitution, Old Ironsides....  The USS CONSTITUTION, is the world's oldest commissioned warship afloat.  It was was launched on Oct. 21, 1797.  The ship with its 44 guns was amazing...  Nice way to end the day.

  1. That old churchyard with the old gravestones is one of the sights I remember best from Boston.

  2. Jeff, this is "my" third voyage with you and i am so appreciative of your tales of adventure that you so carefully and beautifully document for us all. I always learn so much. Just finished reading about the Freedom Trail on their website, how incredible! Have a great voyage and thanks again for taking me along. Gratefully, Susan (Arizona).
